Upon graduating high school, Jessica arrived at the decision to study media by something of a process of elimination. Following a passionate aversion to mathematics and science and armed only with the knowledge that she enjoyed reading, she dove headlong into a double arts degree at UTS, hoping for the best.​

Five years, many assignments, a few internships and a bunch of published news stories later, she has truly begun to find her feet and feel at home in the media industry. Rapidly realising her Chinese background and the time she spent on social media could both be used to further her professional pursuits, she grew serious about excelling in academia while sinking her teeth into as much industry experience as she could.

Jessica specialises in editorial content writing (news reporting, feature writing, copywriting), social media strategy + implementation, and sub-editing.
I AM INSPIRED BY OPPORTUNITY AND THE SPIRIT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP THAT GROWS AROUND ME DAILY.
I am particularly interested in the field of journalism, social media, media strategy, start-ups & new technology, creative agencies and the not-for-profit sector, but am always looking to expand my horizons and discover new passions.
